This is my first go on this webpage, in my new role as “Director of Occasional Entertainment and Amazing Social Events”. A role I am obviously proud to hold and will no doubt look amazing on my CV. One day you too may aspire to be in this role and with a decent mentor could achieve this!😀
Anyway, it’s now time for me to try and gather willing volunteers to partake in an evening at the infamous Bongo’s Bingo in Liverpool.
Do you prefer quiet nights?
Hate the thought of winning £2,500?
Would you be gutted to win a Henry the Hoover, a Philip Schofield cut out, a mobility scooter or any other equally random prize?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above then maybe it isn’t for you…..but if you do fancy a bit of a unique evening then please read on….
Don’t be shy, even if a couple of you from each team commit to going I will guarantee it will be an amazing night. And if you can’t get a couple from your team, feel free to tag along with us from Procurement, who seem to be partial to a night out and a drink.
Speaking from experience it’s a brilliant evening. It costs £20, you get tickets for the bingo and the chance to be in the grand prize draw. Oh and there’s the odd drink that can be consumed! If you are aged between 18 and 81 then you will enjoy it. Across all the various teams in Finance it will be a great opportunity to get to know each other better and have a few drinks and a laugh.
Tickets are notoriously difficult to get hold of, so at this stage I am just after approximate numbers of who may be interested in going to Bongo’s Bingo, probably in the last two weeks of September. Either a Friday or Saturday evening. The tickets are likely to go on sale imminently so….

At this moment I am speculating these dates will actually be nights it is on. The plan will be to go for the date which is most popular, or if tickets can’t be bought for that date then the 2nd most popular. Unless it’s just me on my own and no one actually reads this…..I probably won’t go on my own……😉
As soon as dates are announced I will contact everyone who has expressed an interest in going to check if you want me to buy you a ticket (yeah, sorry but you need to pay me back though!)
